Any exterior changes to your property require review and written approval from the Architectural Review Board (ARB) before work begins.
What Requires Approval?
- Landscape improvements (shrubs, trees, new beds)
- Fences and walls
- Decks, patios, shade structures, and outdoor kitchens
- Swimming pools and hot tubs
- Exterior painting (even if same color)
- Roof replacement
- Driveways โ additions or replacement
- Play structures, playhouses, tree houses
- Sheds and accessory buildings
- Signs and lighting
- Mailboxes and house numbers
- Tree removal
- Drainage and grading changes
How to Apply
- Complete the Request for Modification (RFM) Form
- Include all required supporting materials (site plan, drawings, color samples, photos)
- Submit to CMA โ allow up to 10 business days for review
- Wait for written approval before starting any work
- Display your ARB sign on the property (visible from road) before commencing work
- Return the ARB sign within 7 days of project completion
