Hurricane Isaias Weather Alert: Please Prepare for This Weekend

Dear Timberlake neighbors,
Tropical Storm Isaias formed in the Gulf of Mexico this week and is
expected to reach the Gulf Coast as a hurricane late Friday or Saturday.
The center is forecast to pass west of north Georgia, but we are on the
storm's damaging side. Impacts are expected to begin Friday night and
continue through Sunday night. Forecasts call for heavy rain, street
flooding, wind gusts of 30 mph or more, and a possibility of tornadoes.

Please take a few minutes now to secure anything that could blow away,
including trampolines, patio umbrellas, grills, outdoor furniture,
decorations, and trash and recycling bins. Anchor what you can and bring in
what you can't.

Our neighborhood is heavily wooded, and saturated soil can weaken root
systems, so trees may snap or fall in strong gusts. Keep vehicles and
outdoor gathering spots away from large trees during the worst of the
weather. If you lose power or see a downed line, stay well back and treat
the line as live. Report it to your utility provider.

Please monitor the National Weather Service (weather.gov) and local news
for updates, since the forecast can change.

Stay safe,
Timberlake HOA Board
